The first time I met Ramzi was in Vienna, together with his best friend Shukri, who connected us. Later I found out that they had many favorite places in Vienna where they met up whenever their work and travel schedules brought them back into my town.
At all times I will remember late nights philosophizing with him, listening to his epic stories while he holds an un-lit cigar in his hand, and the melody of Sinatra’s “I did it my way” jingles over from the piano at the bar.
Connecting and helping people was Ramzi´s favorite “game”, he was a master of influencing and communicating.
I believe, that he did not stop doing this on 16.4.2021, and this HIS spirit will live on in us, his honored family, friends and companions.
 
I am deeply grateful that I was given the chance to walk a few steps aside him.
